The place I belong is in front of a notebook with a pen in my hand. I am a human writer. At 42, I am in a new stage. This stage surrenders to the work, I see that my stories are better shared than in a trunk or a memory drive. I have journaled since I was a pre-teen and just brought home a new trunk from the side of the road since my old trunk is filled to the brim with journals.
I live Portland, Oregon, with my husband, Jeff. We share all of our space with three cats: Tansy and Artemis and our spirit cat, Basil.
Thank you for stopping by to see more about my debut novel, The Disconsolate. It has been a long time coming and I am so grateful to finally be sharing it and holding a copy in my hands.
